Add GOOD things: Avoiding foods that I love to try and fit into a certain outfit might work in the short term but doesn’t last. Instead, I shift my focus to adding more water, fruits, and veggies to my meals. A summer cocktail is always better paired with a glass of water and a summer veggie salad. 🥗🍉💦

Plan ahead: With a busy schedule of work, kids’ activities at random times of the day, family commitments and vacations, I always take the time to plan my week. I think about meals, workouts and make a list of groceries. It’s amazing how much stress it eliminates when you don’t have a million things running through your head (not to mention it prevents me from skipping workouts and grabbing whatever food I can find in our house). 📅📝

Morning workouts: Waking up early is never easy but getting some kind of exercise in before my kids wake up always, ALWAYS makes the day better for everyone in our house. Plus, it’s “me time” that I really need when our schedules seem to change every day. 🌅💪
